огибающая кривая
Кривая (поверхность), которая в каждой своей точке касается одной из кривых (поверхностей) заданного семейства, не имея при этом ни с одной из них общей дуги (области). Например, такова кривая, образованная рядом краткосрочных кривых средних издержек (см. рис. O.2) и отражающая изменение издержек предприятия в долгосрочный период при разных технологических процессах. Рис. О.2 Огива.
